WorldatWork is the world's leading notfor-profit professional association dedicated to knowledge leadership in compensation, benefits and total rewards.

Founded in 1955, WorldatWork focuses on human resources disciplines associated with attracting, retaining and motivating employees. In addition to serving as the membership association of the profession, WorldatWork provides education programmes, the monthly workspan®magazine, online information resources, surveys, publications, conferences, research and networking opportunities.

An affiliate organisation, WorldatWork Society of Certified Professionals, administers and issues the certification designations; Certified Compensation Professional (CCP®), Certified Benefits Professional® (CBP), Work-Life Certified Professional® (WLCP) and Global Remuneration Professional (GRP®).

Advance the state of the profession in compensation, work-life, perfomance and recognition, development and career opportunities, benefits and total rewards.

Core Purposes

  1. Provide WorldatWork audiences with an integrated source of high-quality and up-to-date knowledge, education and tools needed to effectively design and manage an organisation's compensation, benefits, and/or total rewards programmes, and to understand how these programmes influence and interact with other business systems and processes.
  2. Play a leading role in advancing knowledge in total rewards by bringing forward new ideas as they are developed, and providing a forum for debate, discussion and education on these new ideas and other leading contemporary issues in total rewards.
  3. Provide a community for total rewards professionals at all levels to learn, grow and network. Be indispensable to our members and other constituents as the premier knowledge and education leader in integrated total rewards, the strategic use of compensation, benefits and the work experience to attract, retain and motivate employees to achieve an organisation's key objectives. WorldatWork will be universally recognised as the leader in the field of total rewards and as an important contributor to improved organisational performance.
